Kanda turns to him, calm yet uncharacteristically not rising to his previous provocations.
As the others leave, he hangs onto Kanda by the sleeve.

But he’s pretty certain Kanda means “You don’t need to apologize to me.”

阪神 is indeed a reference to the Japanese comedy duo All-Hanshin Kyojin, consisting of a short “Hanshin” and a tall “Kyojin” and yes, this is also a reference to Lovely Complex!
